Is It Time to Retire the Cleveland Indian's Chief Wahoo Logo?

After learning about Andrew Jackson's Indian Removal Act of 1830, and the Trail of Tears that followed for the Cherokee and other hardships faced by Eastern Tribes on their relocation to Indian Territory, West of the Mississippi, what do you think about the Chief Wahoo Logo of our Cleveland Indians? Is it respectful? Why is our professional baseball team called the Indians anyhow? Once again- like other sports teams named after Native American peoples, the Cleveland Indians have been approached about changing their logo. Is the name also an issue- or just the logo? A number of recent articles and editorials are linked below for your consideration.

What do you think? How might the logo be changed or redesigned? What about the name? Any suggestions? This has been in the news again this week, and was a focus during last October's World Series... if you find other good resources, please share them through your posts.
